Chapel Retreat is part of a large, stunning converted chapel, set in the heart of Buxton, offering light open spaces, with gorgeous high ceilings. There are various shops and pubs within 0.5 miles. Visit the famous Opera House, Buxton Museum, or the Pavilion Gardens. Take a spa treatment at the famous, Grade I-listed Crescent Hotel or fill your bottle with natural spring water from St Ann’s Well, constantly flowing at 28°C – all within half a mile of the property. Take a walk up to the famous Kinder Scout or enjoy the beautiful Ladybower Reservoir (17 miles) or the picturesque Goyt Valley (3 miles). Go Ape and the famous Poole’s Cavern sits just over half a mile away, with the country park also leading off from the same area, you can walk to Solomon’s Temple, take on the ropes and high wires of Go Ape, or explore the underground offering of Poole’s Cavern all in the same location.

Walking into the hallway, you are met with impressive large windows, a cloakroom with WC and area to hang coats and take off shoes. There is a lovely little snug, perfect for some peaceful reading time or why not set it up as a games room for the children to play. The living room is a beautiful open space, with large arch windows, lovely colour tones and plenty of soft seating for everyone to gather in and relax in the evenings. The dining space offers comfortable seating, just snuggled round the corner to offer an intimate dining experience for all. The kitchen is set just off the living room, there is lots of storage and plenty of space to rustle up meals or spend time baking or making your morning breakfast. Upstairs there are four well-appointed bedrooms, with lovely colour accents and versatile sleeping arrangements. From the king size bedroom that has the en-suite, to the bunk bedroom perfect for the children. There is a large family bathroom where you can enjoy either a bath or shower.

Outside there is a garden space to enjoy and relax in, but one of the best things about this property is how close it is to all the best that Buxton has to offer. From the wonderful green spaces and walks on your doorstep, to the fabulous shops, cafes, and places to eat.

The characterful and freshly furnished property occupies a fantastic location , close to the town centre and as well as the 1 car driveway has available space on the road close by. The living space is generous and comfortable to spend quality time with your group. Each of the bedrooms have comfortable beds and bed linen and ensuite and main bathrRead moreoom have good showers. Lovely, convenient location. Clean, well equipped, comfortable house and beds. Lovely and warm when it needed to be. Really loved the stay and the apartment was very cosy and comfy. Loved the space and dcor within each room. The chapel is ideally located centrally with easy access into Buxton.

A beautifully decorated and spacious property in excellent clean condition. All the amenities we needed. Perfect location close to transport, shops and park. Would definitely recommend.
