This comfortable three-bedroom apartment is set in a Victorian former post office in the centre of Buxton, a spa town since Roman times as well as the highest market town in England (at 300 metres above sea level). The main sights of the town are in easy reach and include the exquisite Opera House, less than 0.5 miles away, which holds theatre, dance and music performances throughout the year, and the Pavilion Gardens, a 23-acre expanse of landscaped gardens with a lake, play areas and a cafe. Independent shops, bars and restaurants are on your doorstep and the train station is within 350 metres.

The apartment is set on the second floor and is on two levels. The lower level houses a living area with comfortable sofas and armchairs and beautiful views over the town, as well as a Smart TV, books, board games and DVDs. The kitchen has a breakfast bar seating two and is well equipped, with a range of essentials supplied. A dining area features a table and chairs to seat six. A bedroom on this level has a Smart TV and a super-king-size bed that can be made into twin beds on request, and an en-suite with a large walk-in shower. The other two bedrooms are on the upper floor. Both have double beds and TVs and share a bathroom with a bath and a separate walk-in shower cubicle. All the rooms are supplied with hairdryers and the bathrooms feature underfloor heating and are stocked with luxury toiletries.

A shared courtyard area includes a picnic table with parasol and a barbecue for each apartment, and makes for an ideal place to relax after a busy day exploring the town.
