This apartment is set in a Grade II-listed former post office in the heart of Buxton, a market town surrounded by the Peak District National Park, the oldest National Park in England. Perfect for a holiday as a couple, with friends or as a small family (children over 10), it is ideally situated for walking and exploring. The town has been famous for its thermal springs since Roman times and is also known for its splendid Georgian and Victorian buildings. The train station is less than 350 metres from the property, and you can also walk to the landscaped expanse of the Pavilion Gardens, 0.5 miles away, and the Opera House, which holds theatre, dance and comedy performances throughout the year.

The apartment is located on the second floor. The open-plan living area includes a dining table, books, board games and DVDs as well as a Smart TV and a comfortable sofa to curl up on after a day exploring. The kitchen features a breakfast bar for two and is well-equipped with all the essentials you may need for your stay. Both bedrooms have king-size beds, TVs and en-suite bathrooms with underfloor heating, as well as hairdryers and luxury toiletries.

The apartment includes access to a shared courtyard garden with picnic bench and barbecue for each apartment.

The accommodation was perfect - very spacious and well equipped and with lovely views. It was so pristine that until we saw the Visitors Book we assumed we were the very first guests.
