A former post office has been converted into modern apartments and is set in the heart of market town of Buxton, which has been welcoming visitors to its natural thermal springs since Roman times. This delightful first-floor apartment provides a lovely escape for couples or a small family (children over 10 years old). The Opera House, which hosts theatre, music and comedy shows throughout the year, is less than 0.5 miles away, as are the Pavilion Gardens, which feature a boating lake and play areas along with a cafe, a theatre and a cinema. Don’t miss Poole Cavern (1.5 miles), a 2-million-year-old limestone show cave with a state-of-the-art lighting system to show off the stalactites and stalagmites to their full effect.

The apartment’s open-plan living area features two comfortable sofas set around the TV, a selection of books, board games and DVDs, and a dining table that seats four people. The stylish kitchen area includes granite worktops and a breakfast bar, and all the equipment you’ll need to cook up tasty meals during your stay. You’ll be assured of a good night’s sleep - the two bedrooms both have king-size beds and feature en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers and underfloor heating. Luxurious toiletries by Cole & Lewis are also provided along with hairdryers.

The apartment includes access to a shared courtyard garden with picnic table and barbecue for each apartment. Enjoy a drink after a busy day exploring or light up the barbecue on a warm summer’s evening.

Perfect location for exploring and walking in the Peak District; also great for access to Buxton, restaurants, pubs etc. Apartment fantastic - everything you could want for a comfortable stay. Owners also provided a friendly and very helpful welcome. Thank you
