Stay in this ground-floor apartment for an unforgettable escape in the spa town of Buxton, surrounded by the Peak District National Park on three sides. A lovely, spacious Victorian Villa apartment with lots of loving touches, richly coloured decor and beautiful high ceilings throughout ensures a feeling of elegance as soon as you enter. Buxton is where you can do it all: relax in a spa, walk in the woods, spend an evening at the opera or head off for a Peak District thrills and spills adventure. Afterwards, return to this beautifully presented apartment, ideal for couples, friends or a family, a short stroll from the centre of the town.

The open-plan living area has plush seats where you can socialise together and watch the Smart TV. The kitchen has all you need to cook up a storm, and the windows offer fabulous light. There are two bedrooms - one super-king-size with an en-suite and one twin room. A second shower room completes the interior of the property. An enclosed outdoor area is at the side of the property, with garden furniture to enjoy a morning brew or evening sundowner on fine days.

Head underground at the world-famous Blue John Cavern in Castleton, 10 miles away or thrill-seekers can enjoy their own caving experience at nearby Giants Hole (8 miles). Hikers should match their skills on Mam Tor and The Great Ridge walk (12 miles) with breathtaking views of the Peak District and an Iron Age fort and ruined castle to discover along the way. Drive 13 miles to uncover the story of the historic plague village of Eyam or visit historic Haddon Hall (17 miles) with its magnificent, extensive, cascading gardens. Alternatively, be adventurous at Poole’s Cavern and Go Ape (1 mile).

Had a great stay. Central location for exploring the area. Apartment is really cozy and has everything in place for a relaxed break.

The apartment was lovely, very cosy and comfortable, it had everything you might need. I found all equipment was of a very good standard.
